My Mad Love Battery

More for Valentines Day.

My mad love battery wants to charge you
My mad love battery could maybe enlarge you
My mad love battery fizzing at the terminals
My mad love battery is one helluva pack of animals

My mad love battery wants to have us both
My mad love battery don't allow for sleep nor sloth
My mad love battery never minces words
Don't discharge flattery so don't listen
To what you've heard, da dum, da dum

I've got sick electricity on the boil for you
I've got this searing love that burns without cue
Without cue without you
Without you, without you, without you

My mad love battery going out of control
My mad love battery wants to swallow you whole
My mad love battery never minces words
Don't discharge flattery so don't listen
To what you've heard, da dum, da dum

I've got this crazy current it slips through my underwear
When it really connects I come and go everywhere
Everywhere I come and go
Come and go, come and go everywhere

My mad love battery wants to charge you
My mad love battery could maybe enlarge you
My mad love battery fizzing at the terminals
My mad love battery is one helluva pack of animals

Happy Valentines

I Love You You Big Dummies.

"Song From Under The Floorboards"

Feb. 8 1980: Magazine released the single "Song From Under The Floorboards" (b-side is "Twenty Years Ago"), in advance of their third Virgin Records studio album, 'The Correct Use of Soap'; the song found a disturbed-sounding Howard Devoto intoning "I am angry, I am ill, and I'm as ugly as sin" - an homage to Dostoyevsky's 'Notes from the Underground', which opens with the lines, "I am a sick man. I am a spiteful man. I am an unattractive man"
